Currently, we do not have permanent Chinese or English-speaking staff on site.
However, we can provide the following support:- If you can discuss arranging an interpreter at least two weeks prior to your consultation, we can accommodate this. Please note that additional fees may apply depending on the specific treatment you receive.
- Support for using translation apps
- Basic communication in English
- You may also bring your own interpreter (up to one accompanying person permitted)
We will explain treatment details and precautions clearly using diagrams and photos.

All prices listed on our website are inclusive of tax. However, depending on the procedure, the following additional fees may apply:
- Anesthesia Fee (varies by procedure, e.g., local anesthesia, nitrous oxide anesthesia)
- Prescription medication fees (painkillers, antibiotics, ointments, etc.)
- Aftercare supplies (tape, bandages, etc.)
- Medical certificate issuance fee (if required)

Our clinic uses equipment and medications approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) or authorized by agencies such as the FDA and KFDA.
The hyaluronic acid used in our menu for international clients, such as Juvederm, is sourced through official channels.
At Flora Clinic Ikebukuro, a cosmetic surgery and dermatology clinic, we prioritize safety above all else and provide personalized treatments for each individual. - How long is the downtime after treatment?

Treatments with minimal to no downtime (same day to next day):
Downtime of several days to about one week:

Visa & Legal Information
- Can I receive cosmetic medical treatment on a tourist visa?

Receiving cosmetic medical treatment itself is not a problem, but please note the following points.
Precautions Immediately After Treatment:
- If swelling is noticeable, you may appear different from your passport photo
- If asked, please answer honestly that you “received cosmetic medical treatment”
- If necessary, we can issue a medical certificate (in English or Japanese, fee: ¥5,000)
Recommendations:
- It is advisable to avoid large bandages or braces.
- Sunglasses or masks can be worn during the flight, but must be removed during immigration.

You can usually go home by yourself after most treatments:
Treatments where going home is no problem:
- Injection-based treatments (PDF-FD therapy, iPS Factor, hyaluronic acid)
- Thread lift
Procedures for which we recommend using a taxi:
- Surgical procedures (double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, etc.)
- If the effects of anesthesia persist
- If there is significant pain or swelling
Transportation Advice:
- Staff will call a taxi if needed
- Most patients can walk back to Ikebukuro Station
- Using public transportation is also fine
Please note the following on the day of your procedure:
- Bringing sunglasses and a mask is convenient
- A hat can help protect you from the sun
- Please refrain from driving (especially if anesthesia was used)

- Should I avoid drinking alcohol or smoking before treatment?

Yes, please cooperate as follows:
Regarding Alcohol Consumption:
- The day before and the day of treatment: Please refrain from drinking alcohol
- Reason: It increases blood flow, raising the risk of swelling and bleeding
- For 3 days after treatment: Please refrain from drinking alcohol
- Especially for surgical procedures, we recommend refraining for 1 week
Smoking:
- One week before treatment: We recommend refraining from smoking
- Reason: It impairs blood flow and slows wound healing
- One week after treatment: Please refrain from smoking
- For surgical procedures, we recommend refraining from smoking for two weeks
Other Precautions:
- If you are taking medications that thin the blood (such as aspirin), please consult us beforehand
- Supplements (such as Vitamin E or Ginkgo Biloba extract) may also increase the risk of bleeding
- Treatment during menstruation is possible, but bleeding volume may increase
- Can I receive treatment during my period?

For your child’s sake, we recommend waiting until after breastfeeding has ended. Waiting until that time will allow you to receive treatment safely. - How long do the effects of the treatment last?
